What protection or comfort does the Lord provide when one walks through the valley of the shadow of death?
He promise us the comfort of His presence, and His comfort of His rod and staff;
As we read this week's study we find out that the rod and staff is not just for punishment, but for comfort and protection too. I can see Him pulling us away from harm with His staff when we are not aware of it. And, speaking personally, I know His rod has been on me when I wonder off from Him because of my own desires, knowing it was wrong. His rod corrects us. It's a good thing!
