Extra on the names of God:

Some of the names of God could have been fitted in different week study, but it's still the names of God we are learning right now.  If you can synchronize them in the lesson you think they would fit to describe God's name, please feel free to do that, I will when I have more time.

Week# 1 Jehovah-Tsidkenu - Jehovah is Righteous

Week# 2 Jehovah-jireh = The LORD will provide - He will see our needs and meet them.

Week# 3 Jehovah-Rophe = Jehovah Heals - He will heal the bitter waters of this life.

Week# 4 Jehovah-Nissi = Jehovah Our Banner - We are brought together under Him and

Week# 5 Jehovah-M'Kaddesh = Jehovah who Sanctifies - He sets us apart unto Himself.

Week# 6 Jehovah-Shalom= Jehovah is Our Peace;  (JUDGES 6:24)

Week# 7 Jehovah-Shammah="The Lord Is There" (Ezekiel 48:35)

Week # 8 Jehovah-Rohi=The Lord is my Shepherd (Psalm 23)

Week# 9 Jehovah-Elohim= God "Creator, Mighty and Strong" (Genesis 17:7Jeremiah 31:33

Week# 10 Jehovah-Shabaoth= "The Lord of Hosts" (Isaiah 1:24Psalm 46:7)

Week# 11 Jehovah-EL ELyon= "God Almighty". Most High"

Week# 12 Jehovah-EL ROI= "God of Seeing" (Genesis 16:13) – the name ascribed to God by Hagar, alone and desperate in the wilderness after being driven out by Sarah (Genesis 16:1-14). When Hagar met the Angel of the Lord, she realized she had seen God Himself in a theophany. She also realized that El Roi saw her in her distress and testified that He is a God who lives and sees all.

Week# 13  Jehovah-ELGIBHOR; Mighty God" (Isaiah 9:6) – the name describing the Messiah, Christ Jesus, in this prophetic portion of Isaiah. As a powerful and mighty warrior, the Messiah, the Mighty God, will accomplish the destruction of God's enemies and rule with a rod of iron (Revelation 19:15).

Week# 14 Jehovah-El Shaddai. ... Moreover, while the translation of El as "god" or "lord" in the Ugaritic/Canaanite language is straightforward, the literal meaning of Shaddai is the subject of debate. The name appears 48 times in the Bible, seven times as "El Shaddai" (five times in Genesis, once in Exodus, and once in Ezekiel).

Week # 15 Jehovah-Adonai= "Lord" (Genesis 15:2Judges 6:15) – used in place of YHWH, which was thought by the Jews to be too sacred to be uttered by sinful men. In the Old Testament, YHWH is more often used in God's dealings with His people, while Adonai is used more when He deals with the Gentiles.
