1). What is the basic reason we must forgive others?
I believe it's so God can forgive us our sins.
2). What is the greatest challenge for you when forgiving someone who has hurt you?
Giving into fleshly desire of revenge, and feeling sorry for myself; "I don't desire this!"
3). How does delaying forgiveness to another impact your own relationship with God?
I believe unforgiveness is sin! This can break our relationship with God. We must forgive in order to be forgiven, and to have a good relationship with God.
4). If you sin against God while withholding forgiveness from another, what immediately comes to mind when you go to seek forgiveness from God?
I must ask God to forgive me for not forgiving that person, then ask for a new heart to forgive. Forgiveness is a hard thing, but we can do it through God.
5). If you do not have the strength to forgive someone who has hurt you, what steps should you take toward restoration?
I believe you should pray to God first, then make steps in action toward that person who need your to forgive them.
6). In what manner are we to forgive others?
We must forgive with a forgiving heart, so God's love can flow to others. We can forgive in our prayer time before any hurt comes our way.
7). When should we forgive?
Forgive before you need to be forgiven; it's the heart that matters.

19:20-21 "you will not receive instruction if you are pride"

Romans 4:7-8 "justification is provided"

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
12). What is the only basis of forgiveness?
The only basis of forgiveness is in the death of Christ upon the cross for our sin to be removed.
13). What do the Mercy Seat means?
The mercy seat concealed the people of God from the ever-condemning judgment of the Law. What is the significance of this? In the New Testament, Christ Himself is designated as our "propitiation." Paul explains this in his letter to the Romans: "Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed" (Romans 3:24-25 NKJV). Our forgiveness comes through this!
