Yes it does! In Psalm 7:17 says, "I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high." (Luke 11:2). There are so many other scriptures that tell us to honor God's Name and Who He is.

Yes, holiness is a prime characteristic of who God really is, and why He desire us to be holy as He is.

Jesus taught us this prayer through His disciples and we should be asking that God reveal His glory through His name in this earth. The OT patriarch honored God's name as well as who He was.  This is giving God the glory He deserve.

We should be asking for God to receive glory, honor, and praise. I like that word "boast!"
