1).     Who sent Samuel to find David?

God sent Samuel to find David after He removed Saul (Acts 13:22)

 

2).     Describe what David said about his own heart.

David describe himself as a humble, reverent, respectful, trusting, loving, devoted, faithful, obedient, and repentful, he also recognized God with his praises.

3).     How would you describe Nabal?

He was a mean, selfish, and harsh man.

4).     Who was Nabal's wife?

Abigail was Nabal's wife.

5).     How did Abigal act when she heard what Nabal did?

She humbled herself and acted quickly by sending food and provision for David and his army.

6).     How did Nabal die?

His heart failed him and he became like a stone, which mean he was in a coma.

7).     What would you call Nabal's death now days?

I would say he had a heart attack, and was in a coma for ten days.

8).     What kind of heart Abigal have?

Abigal had a humble heart, a soft heart, very respectful, a Christian heart.

9).     How many wives David had when he married Abigal?

This study says David married Abigal after he married Michal and Jezreel, I don't agree with that; I have not found in the Word where it says David was married to Jezreel, but that this was a place, a plain in a valley, the Plain of Armageddon. Maybe this is in Jewish history, not sure. For me until I learn different, she was his second wife.

10).   How would you describe David's relationship with women?

His desire for women was a weakness; his son Solomon had this same problem too. But God forgave them and still used them; which is where we find God's heart "looked beyond their fault and saw their need." Everything about God has a reason! He chooses the weak thing of this world to confound the things which are mighty; (I Corinthians 1:27)

11).   Apostle Paul wrote about David, what did he say?

In the book of Acts, the apostle Paul speaks of God's feelings about King David: "After removing Saul, he made David their king. He testified concerning him: 'I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do'" (Acts 13:22). The answer to why David was considered a man after God's own heart is found right in the verse: David did whatever God wanted him to do.
